How It Got Started
Finally Got It Done or at Least Started!
The Request
More years ago than I want to think about, my dear niece Ginger asked me to put some of my recipes together for her. She so enjoys our holiday meals together. Sounds easy, right? NO! I have countless scraps of paper with printed recipes, handwritten ones, all with various corrections scribbled everywhere. Not to mention the stains all over my papers and pages in my cookbooks. I have so many favorites that I was frozen with indecision.
Then there was the most difficult hurdle, where to publish all of this? I tried free Word templates, making my own template (6 years ago), free trial templates, now finally, a WIX website, free to start at least.

The Great Self-Quarantine of 2020
Then COVID-19 arrived. On March 12th I left work not knowing that I would not be able to return for several months. So with my pile of recipes starring me in the face I started sorting out some of my favorites and working on this "book".
Some of these recipes I have adapted to suit my taste and cooking style. Some I made up myself. Others are from dear family members and friends. A few are from chefs and cooks that I just could not leave out. I have made every attempt to give credit where credit is due.
